Miller lines up his first official visit

Alvin, Texas offensive guard Nathan Miller has received two phone calls so far in September. But, one of the calls contained an official visit invitation.
“Syracuse and Clemson called,” the 6-foot-2, 265-pound Miller said. “They have both offered scholarships to me. I will visit Clemson, Syracuse and Texas Tech. I’ve set up the trip for Syracuse for Dec. 6.”

That will give Miller the opportunity to watch the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in action against the Orangemen.
“That should be a good football game,” he said. “I’m looking forward to going up there.”
Other schools of interest are Pittsburgh, Texas Tech, Colorado State, UTEP and Kansas.
“I’m not really close to a decision,” Miller said. “I like Clemson. It is really far away. I’m waiting it out for Rice or Houston or something close.”
Miller is looking for a few key items while looking for a school.
“I’m looking for a good academic school,” he said.. “Location is real important to me.
I’d like to stay in Texas. But, if it doesn’t work out that way, then fine. I want a school with good traditions to keep, too.”
Miller is planning on taking his time to make his decision.
“I’m looking at taking all five trips before I make a choice. My parents would like me to do that and then decide.”
