Military or Ivy League for Tennyson

Eagen (Minn.) Academy of Holy Angles two-star athlete Rob Tennyson hasn't seen his team get pushed too much so far in the state playoffs. After a 41-12 victory in sectionals last week, it's off to state for Holy Angles, and Tennyson said his team will be ready.
"I think what allows us to keep blowing people out is that we don't get overconfident," he said. "We know we have to take everybody seriously, and that helps us prepare hard for everybody."

Other teams definitely prepare to stop Tennyson. This past week, Tennyson rushed for 130 yards on 12 attempts.
"They were mainly all on runs that were between 10-15 yards," he said. "There were some good holes, and I ran hard."
Tennyson now has a hard to decision to make with the recruiting process. The 6-foot-1, 253-pounder has to decide between the Ivy League or going to a military academy. He has official visits set to Air Force for December 2 and Harvard for December 9.
He's also looking at Army, Princeton and Dartmouth.
"It's basically down to whether or not I want to go into the military or not," he said. "When I think about it's both exciting and nervous. I'm just not sure if I want to do that or not."
