Safety Carlson Milikin out of Woodberry Forest (Va.) Woodberry Forest School landed his first offer recently. Who pulled the trigger on the 6-foot-0, 184-pounder?
"Navy offered me the other day, it's my first offer," he said. "I'm just excited for that to snowball into a lot more interest.
"Navy wants me to do football and lacrosse. That's appealing to me and I want to visit there this summer. I don't know much about the school, but I know you have to be in the service for five years after graduation."
Meanwhile, does he like any schools?
"I really like Stanford and I like Al Groh from Georgia Tech," he said. "Stanford has the best academics and a beautiful campus. They are a top ten school in the country.
"I need to visit Georgia Tech."
Plenty of schools are going to receive visits from Milikin this summer.
"I'm going to Virginia Tech on June 4th, Duke on June 11th, North Carolina on the 13th, Georgia Tech on the 16th and Stanford on the 19th," he said. "They all say that they see me as either a strong safety or a receiver, they just want to see me play in person before they make a decision."
