Miles looking to trim list

Cyler Miles has two new offers from Pittsburgh and Arkansas and is getting lots of new interest as the Denver (Colo.) Mullen dual-threat quarterback tries to focus in on recruiting and pick out a few schools he likes most.
"I'm trying to weed out some schools and do some research on these schools and trying to get a top list," Miles said.

Washington, Illinois, Arizona, Florida and Florida State are five schools that Miles has his eye on but many more could get on his list as well.
He plans to visit Colorado for spring practice soon. He also wants to visit Washington sometime this spring. More visits could happen this summer
In terms of his decision-making process, Miles said he definitely doesn't want to wait until National Signing Day in February but doesn't want to rush, either.
Miles is targeting a commitment right before his senior season, possibly right after or maybe when he visits a school and knows it's the right situation.
"I definitely don't want to wait until signing day," Miles said. "I'd like to find that school that fits me and commit fairly early.
"I was thinking before the season or right after the season. I'm trying to get this process on the road. I want to go out and see these schools before I make a decision though."
Miles, one of the top quarterbacks at the U.S. Army National Combine, now lists offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Illinois, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Utah, Vanderbilt and Washington.
He threw for 2,130 yards with 20 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He helped lead Denver Mullen to a 14-0 record.
