Miles lands second offer, schedules camps

Mebane (N.C.) Eastern Alamance defensive end Nick Miles registered his second scholarship recently. The 6-foot-2, 255-pounder has also set out his summer camp schedule for the month of June.
"I got an offer the other day from Western Carolina," he said. "It's good to get another offer from a school."

Miles already held one scholarship from Duke.
Meanwhile, what are his plans next?
"I've got the Shrine Bowl this weekend to make the final cut," he said. "For camps, I'm going to Wake Forest on the 12th, Duke on the 19th and NC State on the 26th.
"I'm looking at more camps, but those are the ones I know in-state coming up. I am thinking about Stanford, South Carolina and Illinois. I'm working on a camp to South Carolina."
With interest growing and camp season starting up, does Miles like anybody?
"I like all the in-state schools, especially Duke, Wake Forest and NC State," he said. "I also like South Carolina. All of those schools are competitive. I like Duke and Wake cause of the academic opportunities and they are all not far from home. South Carolina is in the SEC, a top conference."
