Miles lands offer, sets an official

Defensive end Nick Miles out of Mebane (N.C.) Eastern Alamance has set his first official visit. The 6-foot-2, 255-pounder landed an offer last week from the school and plans to head there next weekend.
"Everything is going good, I got an offer from Ball State on Tuesday," he said. "I've set an official to Ball State on January 14th.

"On Tuesday, tomorrow Wake Forest is coming by. I'm not sure what that's about, but I might be setting up an official there."
Miles held an offer from Duke earlier in the process and still has offers from Elon and Western Carolina.
In the meantime, who else is interested in him?
"NC State has shown me some interest, I've shown interest in Georgia Tech and UCLA as well as Boise State."
Recent offer Ball State appears to be sticking out at this time though.
"Right now I'm liking Ball State," he said. "It's a Division I school in the MAC conference and they put a lot of players into the NFL."
Miles earned first team all-state and conference defensive player of the year after posting 98 tackles and 17 sacks in 15 games as he led Eastern Alamance to the state championship game.
"It was a great year, I'm thankful to God, my coaches and parents for the good season I had."
