Miles a hot target out West

Peoria, Ariz., running back Jamal Miles is one of the top running backs in the West, but for one reason or another he's seemingly gotten little attention from national recruiting fans. But that's Ok, the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder has been getting plenty of attention from the college coaches.
He already has early offers from Arizona and Arizona State and Peoria was a popular place to visit for college coaches this spring.

"USC came down to school, and then they called me," Miles said. "Wisconsin , Colorado, CSU, Utah, Utah State and San Diego State University did, too."
He said at this stage he hears the most from some school that traditionally recruit Arizona heavily.
"The most consistent teams are ASU, U of A and Colorado," he said. "Coach Tim Kish from U of A is really cool. And so is Dan Cozzetto from ASU. I'm not sure about the Colorado coach's name. But those are the ones I hear from the most."
Most of the other schools are seemingly interested, but none of them say they're about to offer just yet. But that's Ok, with solid offers from two Pac 10 schools on the table, Miles is already happy where he's at and is isn't ready to name favorites.
"Not at the moment," he said. "They're all pretty much the same. I would like to decide probably after the football season or something like that. "ASU is recruiting me as running back. The rest are recruiting me as a corner or a running back.
"My parents pretty much just want the best choice for me."
Miles said he plans to camp at Ohio State and Arizona this June, but isn't sure about other camps quite yet.
