Mike Stoops scores again

Lufkin, Texas, three-star linebacker Aaron Darks was supposed to go to Texas Tech this weekend, but late in the week, he changed things up and visited Arizona. It was a visit, he didn’t regret taking.
That’s because the 6-foot-1, 205-pound inside linebacker said he committed to Arizona, bolstering the Wildcats’ already impressive defensive class.

“I committed to the coaches while I was up there this weekend,” Darks said. “I think I’m pretty much done now. I might take one more visit or two. Washington just called me tonight, and the coaches from Kansas want me to visit.
“So we’ll see what happens, but I’m committed to Arizona.”
Darks said he picked the Cats because of the defensive mentality of coach Mike Stoops.
“I like coach Stoops,” he said. “He’s a defensive coach. I like that.”
Darks, an all-region pick as a junior, was also recruited by Houston, Kansas and Texas Tech. He had offers from all of the teams.
