Hopes have certainly been high in Columbus that five star linebacker Mike D'Andrea would announce a commitment to Ohio State either today or tomorrow.
However with the clock ticking toward midnight, it does not look like an announcement is going to come today. And it remains to be seen whether an announcement of any kind will come on Saturday.

Mike's father Bob just indicated moments ago that he was pretty certain an announcement would not come tonight, and was not sure if one would come tomorrow or not.
However an announcement, whether it comes on Saturday or not, is still expected before Christmas.
The 6-foot-3 and 230 pound D'Andrea, from Avon Lake (Ohio), has narrowed things down to Ohio State and Nebraska.
