Midwest four-star makes choice

Minneapolis (Minn.) Breck cornerback/wide receiver Brandon Robinson has made a commitment.
"I committed to Boston College," said the 6-foot-0, 185-pounder. "I just felt very comfortable there on my visit and I wanted to commit since I was there this summer. My official visit just made me feel stronger about things. I've known coach (Jerry) Petercuskie for a long time now, he was at my first high school game and I love what BC has to offer."

Robinson chose the Eagles over offers from Stanford, Colorado, Minnesota, UCLA, Vanderbilt and others.
"I'm excited about it," he said. "They want me as a wideout and I prefer to have the ball in my hands. I love the area around Boston, the academics and the players. I fit in well there."
Robinson took an official visit to UCLA this past weekend.
"It was cool," he said. "I love LA and everything and I have a bunch of friends out there, but BC is where my heart is."
Robinson caught over 80 passes for more than 1,500 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior. He is ranked as the No. 8 cornerback in the country by Rivals.com
