The Skinny: Jones released his top six in late August with LSU, Baylor, Texas A&M, Alabama, Oregon and Texas all making the cut. At the time he also said he planned to take an official visit to Ohio State. Right now he plans to take official visits to Oregon, Alabama, Ole Miss, and either LSU or Ohio State. Then for his final visit he plans to visit either Texas or Texas A&M. He does not plan to make a decision until after the season.
If today were Signing Day ... There has been a strong pull toward Texas A&M from the beginning and the Aggies remain the prediction. In addition to his knowledge about College Station and the Aggies being the first to offer, there is a family pull to stay closer to home.

The Skinny: Baylor and USC were the two schools Bowen mentioned at the top of his list in late August, and Oregon received his first official visit. In addition to his official visit to Eugene he mentioned Michigan, Arizona State and USC as possible official visits. He did take an unofficial visit to Baylor before the season, and said the Bears are No. 1 on his list. He has not set a date, but in the past he has said he would like to make an in-season commitment. If today were Signing Day ... The Baylor Bears have been atop his list or among the leaders for a long time. The Bears have a strong track program, which also helps their cause, and Baylor has been in the race for Bowen from the beginning. |

The Skinny: Anderson has had a few Texas A&M experiences already this fall. He attended the scrimmage before the season and he attended Texas A&M's game in Houston against Arizona State. He also plans to return to College Station for an unofficial visit to Kyle Field for a home game. Also in his fall plans are unofficial visits to Ole Miss (Oct. 10) and LSU (Oct. 18), and his official visit to UCLA is tentatively set for this weekend. If he does not make the official visit to UCLA look for him to drop the Bruins in favor of another program hot on his trail. Teams coming on strong are Notre Dame, TCU, Florida and Georgia. He plans to take official visits to Texas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and LSU in January, and announce his decision on signing day. If today were Signing Day ... It is a very close call, but Texas A&M is the prediction. However, Ole Miss is a team to watch very closely. He is close with Shea Patterson and the Rebels coaching staff has done a great job of developing the relationship. Still, Texas A&M has been able to get him on campus and in the stands a few times and he plans to return. |

The Skinny: Duvernay has taken official visits to LSU and Ohio State, and Alabama is coming up next. He plans to take official visits after the season to Oklahoma and Baylor. His brother, Donovan, recently committed to Baylor and the two have said they would like to play together. He also plans to take unofficial visits to Baylor and Oklahoma during the season. In addition to LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, Baylor and Oklahoma, Duvernay's top 10 consists of Auburn, Oklahoma State, Oregon, TCU and Texas. . If today were Signing Day ... Baylor sure seems to be the frontrunner. Duvernay has not come out and said so, but his brother committing and the Bears' style of play catches the attention. Baylor was also the first to offer him a scholarship. |
COMMITTED BUT STILL LOOKING There are obviously many players already committed throughout the Mid-South, although some are more committed than others. Here are two who still may take a look around before National Signing Day. | ||||||||||||
