Terry's recruitment has come down to an effective final three of Texas, Nebraska and Oregon. There have been a number of visits to each of the programs, including some early season visits on deck. Terry will make his way to Lincoln this weekend for the Huskers' matchup against Colorado. However, the home-state Longhorns seem to be in the best position given their offensive prowess and ability to stay close to home.

The Longhorns also provide strong NIL opportunities and the direction of the program seems bright in the SEC under Steve Sarkisian.

Prediction: Texas

Anytime there is a top prospect in the state of Louisiana, my first instinct is to feel they will end up at LSU. This is especially true with prospects in Baton Rouge, which is amplified when knowing that Brown goes to high school on LSU's campus. Texas A&M, Alabama, USC, Ole Miss and others are also in the mix in Brown's recruitment.

Whether it be on the offensive or defensive line, I feel confident the Tigers can persuade Brown that his future is brightest playing in Death Valley.

Prediction: LSU

LSU has a strong grasp in the state of Texas and looks to flex those muscles on a yearly basis. The Tigers offered Calicut back in June and the attraction was mutual. Upon getting the offer, he expressed in his interest in the Tigers, pointing to the 'DBU' history in the program, adding he watched LSU a great amount growing up.

There is also the facet of one of the North Shore's top playmakers, Charles Ross, being committed to LSU in the 2025 class.

Prediction: LSU

Best was one of the biggest stock-risers of the summer, excelling at a number of prospect camps on college campuses. I was on hand for his camp performance at Oklahoma, where he was offered quickly after its conclusion. Texas A&M, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Ole Miss and others extended offers.

What gives me confidence in the Sooners is that it was learned soon after that camp that Best is originally from Oklahoma, before moving to Texas when he was younger. With that, he has grown up as a Sooners fan. There were real emotions from Best while on campus and he says even the fact he was working out in front of the staff was a blessing.

Prediction: Oklahoma
