The 2019 recruiting class is littered with early commitments and that means there will be plenty of decommitments later in the recruiting process. Here are five prospects from the Mid-Atlantic that could end up signing with teams to which they aren't currently committed.

MORE FLIP WATCH: Midwest | Florida | Southeast

Kpogba was an early commitment for West Virginia and has remained solidly committed since then, but Tennessee got a visit from him during the offseason. The Vols aren’t exactly pushing for Kpogba to flip right now, but there’s definitely interest on Kpogba's part to take another visit to Knoxville.

Tennessee may not be the only other school to get a visit from Kpogba. He’s made it known that he would like to take other visits as well, but it still seems like a bit of a long shot that Kpogba would end up flipping. Still, It is worth following his recruitment all the way up until Signing Day, because crazy things always happen later in the process.

Ohio State got Nester's commitment back in August of last year, and the Buckeyes have kept a tight grip on him ever since. But that hasn't stopped other schools from reaching out. Georgia and Virginia Tech are just a couple of the schools that have been keeping tabs on Nester in hopes of getting him on campus this season. Nester still is committed to Ohio State and expects to play for the Buckeyes, but the opportunity to potentially visit another major program is enticing. It is a bit of a stretch to say that he is on flip watch, but with all the turmoil at Ohio State, Nester is making sure he has options if there are major changes in Columbus.

Land is one of the more solid Maryland commits right now but, with the potential for a coaching change in College Park, Land is someone that college coaches will be reaching out to if D.J. Durkin is not retained as head coach. Land was interested in many schools prior to his commitment to Maryland, and was even committed to Virginia Tech much earlier in his high school career. Land has visited schools across the country and is a well-known prospect. He’s already having an excellent senior campaign and that could reignite interest from other colleges. Don’t expect a flip from Land unless changes are made in College Park.

*****

Houston, like Land, was interested in many other schools before he committed to Maryland. The northern Virginia star had many connections to Penn State, Virginia Tech and North Carolina, and he visited many other schools before his eventual commitment to the Terps. Most of the commits, including Houston, are in “wait-and-see mode,“ and there may not be any change to Houston’s commitment status if there isn’t a coaching change at Maryland.

Sainristil is one of the tougher prospects to get a read on in the Mid-Atlantic. The longtime Virginia Tech commitment has been silent on his status as a future Hokie for months. There are rumors of his interest in Michigan and Boston College, and those rumors have been compounded because of his visits to Ann Arbor and Chestnut Hill in the offseason. The Wolverines have great connections to his school and his area, so if Michigan really decided to make a big push to flip Sainristil, that could be bad news for the Hokies. Boston College, being the hometown school, is a bit more likely to flip Sainristil than Michigan at this point.
