Miclisse says Tennessee leads

Palm Bay (Fla.) Bayside three-star linebacker Greg Miclisse has spent the past week or so on a whirlwind tour throughout the Southeast, making stops at 15 different schools. So which campuses stood out the most to Florida product?
"Tennessee, Alabama and N.C. State, I really liked those," he said. "I've been to a lot of places but they were the most impressive."

In fact, Miclisse liked his trip to Knoxville so much, he declared the Vols his leader.
"That's the reason I favor Tennessee, just the whole atmosphere up there," he said. "Every time I go up there it's like family. The coaches treat me so nice, the campus is beautiful and the fan base and everybody loves me at Tennessee."
Family is important to Miclisse so he said that finding the right kind of fit is very important to him.
"If I'm going to be away from my mom for four years, I know that's a place that can take care of me," he said. "That's why I favor them out of everybody else."
Miclisse camped at LSU and drew high marks from the Tigers coaches for his performance.
"I never lost a one-on-one," he said. "I just dominated and Coach Miles got a good eye on me and really liked me. He said he wants me to call him so he can talk to me and my mom. I know an offer will come from them. I got a feeling with the way he was talking to me."
Miclisse has several offers, but said soon he'll be cutting his list down in an effort to get closer to a decision.
"I'm doing my top six next week," he said. "After that I'm going to evaluate and do research and take visits and then go on from there."
