Michigan WR not considering defense

Brandon Horn enjoyed his visit to North Carolina State last week.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound wide receiver/defensive back out of Country Day High School in Detroit plans to take two additional visits over the next couple of weeks before finalizing his college decision.

"It was beautiful down in Raleigh, North Carolina," Brandon's father (Edward Horn) said. "I accompanied Brandon and we both really enjoyed it.
They showed us some good old-fashioned southern comfort. They had nice facilities and we really like the coaches. I plan to accompany Brandon on his two last visits as well."
Horn will be heading to Northwestern this weekend (Jan. 18) and will follow that visit up with a trip to Penn State on Jan. 25.
"After those two visits, that will be it," Edward Horn said, "unless, of course, the St. Louis Rams call and then we will probably visit them."
Edward Horn acknowledged that decision time is nearing for his son.
"Brandon is pretty open between his three finalists," Edward Horn said, "but we don't have much time before we will need to make a decision."
According to Mr. Horn, Georgia Tech and Nebraska had offered his son and that Florida and Michigan State were strongly considering him right up to now. They are no longer being considered.
"Brandon wants to play offense," Mr. Horn said, "and Nebraska and others were talking to him some about defense. His three finalists all want him strictly on the offensive side of the ball. Brandon is also looking at schools that fit his style of play. He's looking for a pretty established
passing game in college."
