Michigan WR Grimes commits to ND
Detroit (Mich.) DePorres wide receiver David Grimes , the younger brother of Carl Grimes who signed with Michigan State in February, will also be playing his college football in the Midwest. But not at the same school as Carl.
"I committed to Notre Dame yesterday," David Grimes said. "I called them and talked to (Notre Dame assistant) coach Dembrock. Ad I left a message with coach Willingham."

David Grimes also had offers from Iowa, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Why did he select the Irish?
"I think that's where I fit in well," David said. "Coach Willingham has explained to me all about them winning championships. He explained how they have good people and it's a good school. That's what my high school is all about."
The 5-foot-10 and 160 pound David teammed with Carl in leading DePorres to a 12-2 record last season. David caught close to 20 passes as he was named honorable mention all-conference. David has a 4.0 GPA and scored a 20 on the ACT.
