Michigan visit was great for Settle

Da'Shawn Hand wasn't alone when he took his official visit up to Michigan last weekend. 2015 Rivals250 Watch List member Tim Settle made the trip from Manassas (Va.) Stonewall Jackson with Hand and got his first experience of Ann Arbor on game day.
"It's a great, better than I thought it was by a lot." Said the 6-foot-2, 307-pound Settle. "The game was intense. There were so many people there and they all showed a lot of love to the recruits.

"We hung out and ate breakfast there," he said. "We went to the stadium and went on the field with the players when they came out for warm ups. We watched the game from the stands and they had a nice half time performance. It was a pretty cool set up."
Settle had some face time with the coaches and an offer could be around the corner.
"I talked to Coach Mattison and all of them," Settle said. "I'm not really rushing for an offer. My last ones were from Penn State and USC."
Settle has more than 20 scholarship offers and Virginia and Ohio State are thought to be among his top schools but the Wolverines may have something to say about that.
"I don't have any top schools but this visit puts Michigan in the conversation," he said. "It was nothing like what I expected it to be. The school was great."
Settle is planning on attending the North Carolina vs. N.C. State game on November 2.
