Michigan visit impresses 2021 3-star Georgia ATH Khari Gee

Michigan's efforts to recruit the state of Georgia have been a hallmark of Jim Harbaugh era, with the Wolverines reaching into the Peach State and snagging several highly-ranked prospects in recent years. The Wolverines staff continues to target Georgia players in future classes, including those with family ties to the program like 2021 athlete Khari Gee. Rivals.com recently caught up with Gee to recap his visit and camp experience at Michigan last month.

"I went up to Michigan and Ohio State last month for visits. I've had an offer from Michigan for a while but I don't have one from Ohio State yet."

Michigan: "It was a good experience. I went up there for a camp and worked out and we spent a lot of time on the field with Coach Partridge. It was nice. My mom went to Michigan and she was happy to be back. She showed me where she stayed when she went there and stuff like that."

Mom's preference: "She would like for me to go there. And she's right, you really can't beat the combination of academics and athletics that they have at Michigan. It's one of the best academic schools in the country and obviously they have a really good football team too."

Relationship with the coaches: "Coach Partridge was really cool. I liked his coaching style a lot. He slowed it down and took time to work with us and teach us."

Campus: "It was my first time up there and my first time seeing a lot of things like the history and the tradition and stuff like that. I also really like that they go out of the country every year and take those visits. That seems like something really cool to be a part of."

Return visit: "I want to come back for the Michigan-Ohio State game."

Ohio state visit: "I worked out there for them at their camp. They showed me around campus and stuff like that, too. They told me that I'm on their radar and they want to see how I do in the fall."
