Michigan visit best of the summer for 2017 ATH

Class of 2017 Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer athlete Jamyest Williams spent his summer working to add offers to his list while camping at some of the nation's top schools. He accomplished his goal at several different camps, but said one school in particular stood out.
"Most definitely Michigan," the 5-foot-8, 161-pound defensive back/running back said. "Just how the coaches are and how they relate to their players, that impressed me. They also have a lot of tradition up there and it's really nice to see all of that."

Prior to last month's visit to Ann Arbor, Williams said he was already a fan of the school from watching them growing up.
"Just watching them on TV and seeing all the tradition I really wanted to get there and see how nice it was in person," he said. "There's nothing else around it, that town is just about Michigan and Michigan football and I liked that."
Williams recently camped at Georgia and he said he's still hoping to impress the Bulldogs coaches enough to earn an offer.
"It's only like 20 minutes from home and I just really want that offer," he said. "It's my hometown school and it's a really big school for me."
