Michigan visit affirms Jones interest
Chicago De La Salle class of 2014 offensive lineman Jamarco Jones made his second to Michigan of the recruiting process on Saturday, checking out the Wolverine's home contest against Illinois.
"Michigan was great," Jones said. "Their fan base is crazy and they played great yesterday, so it was a pretty good experience."

Jones' previous trip to Michigan was for their summer camp, which is when he received his scholarship offer from the Wolverines. This weekend's trip was about taking in the game atmosphere and experiencing a football Saturday in Ann Arbor.
"They talked a lot about their fan base and the type of things they do as a school," Jones said. "I got to see that first-hand at the game and it was just a great experience."
Jones' made the visit to Michigan with his teammate and fellow class of 2014 recruit Mikale Wilbon. His interest in the Wolverines has risen due to the trip.
"I am definitely looking at them going forward," Jones said. "I have heard a lot about them, and [the visit] just proved what everyone said about their games and the fan base."
Prior to the Michigan visit, Jones had attended a game at Michigan State and also took in Notre Dame's contest against Miami at Soldier Field in Chicago. He also has a packed visit scheduled upcoming, with trips to Northwestern (Oct. 20), Wisconsin (Oct. 27), Notre Dame (Nov. 3), Michigan State (Nov. 10) and Ohio State (Nov. 24) either planned or being considered.
Jones' offer list hit a dozen earlier this fall, with Wisconsin and Ole Miss being the most recent to tender scholarships. A paring of his offer list is still a ways out, however.
"I'm just taking it all in at this point," Jones said. "I will do all that later on - towards the end of this school year and in the summer time."
