Michigan State impressed 2019 ATH Jordan Huff

ATLANTAJordan Huff picked up an offer from Michigan State a couple of weeks ago and he has already taken a visit to East Lansing (Mich.).

The 6-foot-1, 185 pound athlete out of Madison (Ga.) Morgan County is approaching double-digit offers and the Spartans getting him on their campus early puts them in a good spot.

The coaches at Michigan State is what stood out most to Huff.

"The coaches were so genuine and I loved how high they are on their morals and how important that is to them," said Huff. "They talked to me about that, they got to know me and it was great being around them.

"The coaches at Michigan State are just good people. They stick to what they believe in and they are big on that. That hit me because they are big on hard work, religion and those types of things. They want their guys to stay true to who they are and I like that a lot."

Huff spent time with multiple coaches, including head coach Mark Dantonio. He got to tour the campus, he met with the strength and conditioning coach and he was impressed with what Michigan State has to offer.

The time it took to make it up north was well worth it for Huff and his father.

"It was definitely worth my time to go up there. I like Michigan State a lot and it was great up there. My dad liked it a lot too.

"The coaches just told me not to get caught up in the offers, but just to focus on school, to take care of that first, and then everything will come my way. I really liked what they had to say to me and what they showed me up there."

The rising junior plans to visit Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Georgia (no offer) in July.
