Michigan State first to get visit from TE

Thirteen points. That’s all that is separating Florissant (Mo.) Hazelwood Central from a state playoff berth. But the good news is that Central and tight end Kazeem Alli hope to win their upcoming game against Pattonville by more than 13 and clinch a trip to the big dance.
“It’s going to be tough,” Alli, who is 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, said. “Pattonville just beat East, who we lost to, so we know we’re going to have to play our best game of the year.”

The good news is that Central is peaking at the right time, and a big reason why is that they’ve discovered that Alli can be a big-time receiving threat. The last two games, he has nine receptions and two touchdowns.
“I’ve worked really hard to become a better receiver,” he said. “That’s the biggest thing that I’ve improved a lot over. I know that I can go out there and make the big plays for my team.”
Alli will make a big official visit next weekend when he travels to Michigan State to visit the campus in East Lansing, Mich.
“They’re supposed to offer me when I take the official visit,” he said. “It’s a really nice school that has my academic major. I want to major in computer engineering, and that would be a good fit up there.”
Georgia Tech and Arkansas State remain his lone scholarship offers to this point, but Alli is also now receiving weekly calls from Illinois and Ohio State – a new team to the hunt – to go along with the Yellow Jackets, Indians and Spartans.
