Michigan RB getting good looks

Birmingham (Mich.) Brother Rice running back Caulton Ray is one of the most explosive rushers in the Midwest. At 5-foot-9 and 195-pounds, the all-area pick racked up 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. He was also dynamic on special teams and is one of the fastest backs in Michigan.
It's that type of ability that has already allowed him to earn offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. He picked up another offer recently that he was really excited about.

"I got an offer from Cincinnati," Ray said. "They offered when they came by my school. He told my coach that it was in the mail. I was pretty excited about that one. That was my first Big East, and big-time offer."
But Ray's not in a rush to commit quite yet.
He said he's still interested in all the teams that have offered him and others that haven't.
"I always have to look out for the first team that offered me and that's Central Michigan," Ray said. "They got on me first so they're first. I haven't really gotten a chance to really get to know a lot about Cincinnati yet, but they're up there. I haven't seen (Cincinnati's) campus yet, but I'm going to soon. I'm going to go in like June.
"Nebraska has been talking to me a lot. I'm going to go out there for a one day camp on like June 7th to see if they're going to offer me and see how much they like me. Then Minnesota has been talking to me a lot. They said they were interested and they were watching my highlight tape.
"I'm still hoping to hear more from Miami, but I've not really heard from them. I still want to go there. But I haven't heard from their coaches in a few weeks. And other coaches have been talking to me. They just said they've got a lot of offers out and I'll just have to wait for someone to fall off their board."
