Michigan QB taking his time

Monroe, Mich., two-star dual-threat quarterback/athlete Audie Cole had a busy summer and will have an even busier fall. With football practices already started and his senior season rapidly approaching, he's also ready to look hard at his college options.
He camped this summer at Purdue, Indiana, Boston College, Central Michigan, Toledo, Miami of Ohio, Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan. He does have one offer from Central Michigan, and Central is one of his top teams along with several others.

"I like Central Michigan, Indiana and Miami," he said. "Those were just nice places though. I'm not really sure yet about if I have a real favorite, though.
"I looking for somewhere I want to spend four to five years at. I don't want it to far away from home, but that doesn't really matter to me too much. You don't want to go be somewhere for five years that you don't like."
Cole, who could also get some looks on defense in college, isn't really sure what his time table is for a decision.
"First I was thinking about before we started the season," he said. "But then I talked to my coaches, and they want me to wait until after the season because all the schools that are looking at me for defense have never seen me play defense. I didn't play defense last year. So they all want to see the first few games on defense."
