Michigan QB picks up third offer

It's common for quarterbacks in the Midwest to pick up offers from schools in the Mid-American Conference before BCS schools put offers on the table.
Given that it would seem that Brian Blackburn is heading in the right direction.

After all, the 6-foot-5, 197-pound pro-style quarterback from Detroit (Mich.) Crockett has now picked up three offers from schools in the MAC and a few BCS conference schools have indicated that they're paying attention.
"I just got offered (Sunday) by the University of Toledo," Blackburn reported. "I like them. I know a few of the players there but I haven't given them much thought yet."
Previously Blackburn had received offers from Buffalo and Central Michigan.
As you might expect, Blackburn is hoping for offers from Michigan and Michigan State, the two major in-state schools. Both schools have shown interest, as have Vanderbilt, Penn State and Western Michigan.
"I'm going down to Nashville to camp at Vanderbilt in about two weeks," Blackburn explained. "I'm also going to Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Cincinnati. I also think I'm going to Purdue."
Last fall Blackburn passed for 2,234 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,049 yards and 9 scores.
