Michigan OL likes visit
Three-star offensive lineman Fred McConnell of Southfield Lathrop was one of a handful of visitors in this weekend at Northwestern and he came away very impressed.
“I’d a great visit, no a super visit,” McConnell, who is 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, said. “Northwestern was always high on my list and I think I could easily see myself playing for them some day.”

But he didn’t commit, right?

McConnell is thinking about visits to Howard, Stanford and a few others. He had previously listed Notre Dame, Iowa, Wisconsin, Navy, Michigan and Ohio State but those teams are not showing him a whole lot of interest at this point in the process.
