Michigan offers talented corner

Kyshoen Jarrett has had some solid options to choose from for a while, but the young man sounds especially excited about his most recent offer.
Jarrett learned on Wednesday that Michigan is formally extending a scholarship offer. While he's not ready to say one school is his favorite, the 5-foot-11, 175-pound corner is ecstatic about that news.

"They e-mailed me and let me know that they loved my tape," Jarrett said, referring to Michigan. "They sent it to the head coach and he loved it. I'm going to get offered by them. They send they're putting it in the mail tomorrow, so I should get it by this weekend or Monday.
"(Tuesday) I talked to the new safeties coach they have. He said he saw my tape a week ago and loved it. He passed it along to the defensive coordinator and then the corners coach. Earlier (Wednesday) coach Rich Rodriguez watched it and loved it, and so they offered me."
What exactly does Jarrett think about the Wolverines?
"The way I feel is if any school has interest in me then I have interest in them," he said. "If Michigan feels I can help their program at corner then that's definitely a big step in this process.
"I did send out my tape to them. I pretty much sent out (highlights) to any school that was sending me mail or showing interest. A couple of them have good backgrounds and good histories with DBs, such as Michigan, so I'm totally interested."
Jarrett isn't the kind of young man that's going to make a decision on a whim, however. While he's excited he's also staying level-headed.
"I think I'm going to be waiting for a while before I do anything. This past Sunday I was thinking Pitt and West Virginia's junior days were (February) 27th, and I came to find out they were (February) 21st, so I kind of missed out on that.
"I'm going to try to make trips out to schools that are really interested in me. It seems like most schools that really like me want to see me before they offer me."
