Michigan offers Florida CB

Spencer Boyd has some big time scholarship offers. Teams like Notre Dame, Stanford, Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Duke, Central Florida and Vanderbilt have already offered this Cape Coral (Fla.) High School cornerback. Now, the Michigan Wolverines are in the mix.
"They offered me (on Saturday)," Boyd said. "I like the way coach (Rich) Rodriguez runs the spread. I also know that Michigan is a traditional power. They have the most wins and the highest winning percentage in the nation. I am very interested in them."
Boyd, 5-10 and 159 pounds, also plays running back. He could play on either side of the ball in Ann Arbor. Last season he rushed for 620 yards (102 atempts) and six scores. Defensively, he has 30 tackles and one interception. Boyd missed the first four games with a hip injury.
