Michigan offer is big for 2017 QB Hill

One of the visitors Michigan hosted for the game against Ohio State was 2017 quarterback Kasim Hill. The Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School stand out had added an offer from the Wolverines a few days before visit.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Hill is going to plan more visits for the spring. In the mean time, he has been in touch with a lot of coaches including coach Johnson from Ohio State.
IN HIS WORDS: "It was a great experience at Michigan," Hill said. "You don't really think that you'd be able to see a game like that with such a storied rivalry. Just getting to witness a tradition like that was pretty cool. Getting to see a game with atmosphere was pretty cool.
"The coaches were saying that they were excited about my film," he said. "They got to talk to our coaches and that's when they extend the offer. They were saying they like how I can keep plays alive and that I have a good throwing motion.
"It was a good talk with Coach Harbaugh," said Hill. "I met him in the summer at their camp. It was really good to talk to him again. It was after the loss but he has a lot of good energy and he's really excited about the game of football. I like some of the things they're doing on offense."
RIVALS' REACTION: It's still very early for Hill. He is waiting to see all the offers that will come in before even hinting that one school has an edge over another. Michigan State was smart to offer Hill early and he has mentioned the Spartans several times in the past.
