Michigan, MSU evaluating in-state back

Muskegon, Michigan running back Juwan Lewis has three offers from MAC schools and the two in-state Big Ten schools he grew up watching are interested as well.
Lewis was recently at the University of Michigan for an extended five-day camp and while he was there he learned that Buffalo had become the third school to verbally offer him, with Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan being the first two that had.

The 5-foot-11, 208-pound running back feels like he performed well at Michigan and he's looking forward to an upcoming trip to Michigan State.
"The coaches (at Michigan) felt like I was very consistent throughout the five days. They were very impressed and they said they'd stay in touch. I just went out and had fun like I usually do.
"They said I was very fluid with the cone drills and everything. They said my downhill running was good and I made good choices on my cuts."
Lewis will visit UM's in-state rival soon.
"On July 11, I'll be going to Michigan State for a one-day (camp)," he added. "Then I'm trying to get out to Northwestern sometime when I can, too."
Lewis maintains that he doesn't have any favorites and he's remaining open to any school that might start showing interest later in the process.
