Michigan LB keeping the faith

One of the top 25 players in the state of Michigan is Detroit M.L. King outside linebacker Bernard Faithful and despite a poor start on the season, Faithful is keeping the faith.
“We’re just making a lot of mistakes,” Faithful, who is 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, said. “We have an inexperienced quarterback and we’re just making a lot of mistakes on offense. Then we’re also doing some bad things on defense, but I know we’re going to turn it around.”

Faithful, ranked as a two-star prospect and the No. 19 player in the state of Michigan, is doing his part. He has racked up seven sacks already in two games.
“It’s going good for me,” he said. “But I would rather have a win or two.”
Faithful said he’s receiving quite a bit of calls from the college coaches. Just tonight, he’s received calls from Purdue and Central Michigan.
He’s also talked with coaches from Northwestern, Michigan, Ball State and Indiana.
“I still have that offer from Indiana,” he said. “And Ball State has also offered me. I don’t know who I want to visit yet, but if I could, I’d go see all of them.”
But Faithful knows he only has five visits, so when it comes time to narrow things down he said the opportunity to play early and the school’s academics will play a factor in his decision.
