Michigan LB has visited UC, Iowa

Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech linebacker Laron Taylor has visited four schools thus far and he has already taken unofficial visits to two of them.
Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa and Western Michigan are the four schools that have verbally offered the 6-foot, 205-pound prospect.

Taylr has been to Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Notre Dame, and he has also been to Cincinnati and Iowa.
"Everything at Cincinnati looked brand new," he recalled. "I was kind of surprised at the facilities they have. They have the best weight room I've seen and I've been to some big-time schools. Coach (Tim) Banks is a real cool guy.
"At Iowa, I like how their coaching staff is close knit. Coach Ferentz has been there a good nine or ten years and their facilities are nice. They plan on adding onto everything, too."
Taylor said he normally doesn't schedule his unofficial visits a long time in advance so he isn't totally sure what he will be doing over the summer. He said there is a chance he will camp at Michigan State but beyond that everything is up in the air.
"I'm definitely going to try to make my decision before the season," he added. "It should be early or mid-August. I just haven't done a good amount of research on each school yet so I'm not sure what's going to happen."
Last fall Taylor registered more than 100 tackles, more than 20 tackles for loss, five sacks and an interception.
