Gordon bench presses 330 pounds and squats 515. He has a 33" vertical jump and a 3.4 GPA.
West coach Jerry Angers feels Gordon has a chance to be a major college recruit.
"He's getting stuff from Wisconsin, Purdue, Michigan State a little, and Western Michigan," Angers said. "We just sent tapes out to Michigan and Michigan State."
Angers said MSU is definitely a school his standout wants to look at.
"Eric's grandpa was an academic All-American at Michigan State," Angers said. "Another school he is interested in is Notre Dame. We'll send stuff to their new staff."
