Michigan lands 5-star OL Schilling

The University of Michigan landed a huge recruit when five-star offensive lineman Stephen Schilling (6-4, 290, 4.9) from Bellevue, Wash., committed to the Wolverines. Schilling is the unanimous pick for the best offensive lineman in the west.
"Michigan was the best fit for me leaving the state," Schilling said. "Michigan is a great program and it felt right."

"I want to thank the state of Washington for their support," Schilling said. "I would also like to thank the coaches of Washington and Cal. They did a great job and liked them both a lot."
"It just felt right for me at Michigan," Schilling said. "I'm still a Wolverine."
Schilling feels that getting away from home will give him an opportunity to be off on his own.
Schilling was a member of the Rivals.com Rivals100 team for the class of 2006 landing as the No. 26 at any position. He is also rated by Rivals.com as the nation's No. 2 offensive guard. He is a member of postseason Washington top 25 has as the Evergreen State's No. 2 prospect at any position.
