Michigan, Irish offer New York DT

Rochester (N.Y.) Aquinas Institute defensive tackle Jarron Jones has known he has a lot of talent for a while now, but it's tough to believe that even he could have foreseen the kind of meteoric rise he has experienced in recent weeks.
The massive 6-foot-6, 305-pound tackle has blossomed into one of the most dominant forces on the defensive line not only in the Northeast, but nationally as well.

His offer list reads like a list of who's who in college football, and even more now after his last couple of offers.
"Notre Dame and Michigan have offered me," Jones said on Wednesday.
"Notre Dame offered me two days ago and Michigan offered last week. Both are good schools, very prestigious. They're good offers."
While Jones maintains that he has a good amount of interest in the Irish and the Wolverines he's not placing any schools on his leader board at the moment.
"I've just got to go visit and see everything. I'll probably start visiting over spring break and the summer," he said.
"I will be going to Syracuse and Rutgers next week or next weekend, but most of my visits will be after that."
Jones was named to the Rivals250 to Watch for 2012 list.
