Michigan interested in Jones

Sheriron Jones has received a lot of interest this off-season and a new Big Ten squad is getting involved that's definitely interesting to the 2015 quarterback.
"I'm getting a lot of interest from Michigan," Jones said. "I don't know when they're going to offer. I know I'm near the top of their recruiting board for 2015 quarterbacks.

"They came out to my school one day. One of the Michigan recruiters came and watched my film and liked me a lot and that's how I got to know them."
Michigan is definitely interesting to the Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde quarterback especially because that coaching staff has compared him to this year's starter, Devin Gardner.
Jones, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound recruit, might not have the size but the comparison is definitely a big deal to the 2015 quarterback who said he's going to closely watch the Wolverines this season.
"That would definitely be a big offer," Jones said. "I like how big their stadium is. A lot of people come to watch their games.
"They compared me to Gardner. I like the way he plays. I saw his film from high school. It's kind of a nice comparison although he's way taller than me. I think he's going to do big things this year so I'll be looking out for that."
So far, Jones has landed offers from Arizona State and Akron. A lot of new interest is coming in and not only from the Wolverines.
The Moreno Valley Rancho Verde standout said BYU, Boise State, Texas A&M, Colorado, Washington, Indiana, Duke and UConn are all in the mix and have shown interest this off-season.
