Michigan DE thinking warm weather

Lansing (Mich.) Sexton defensive end D.J. Young, the No. 13 prospect in the state of Michigan in the Rivals.com player rankings, had been thinking mainly about schools in the Midwest. But now a school from the state of Florida has entered the picture.
"I set up a visit to Purdue Jan. 20," Young said. "I have Cincinnati Dec. 9 and Indiana Jan. 13.

"I got a call from Central Florida. I'm supposed to go down there hopefully Dec. 2. I have to get down to Orlando."
Young also has some other schools in the picture too.
"I'm looking at Big Ten schools like Purdue, Indiana, and Michigan," Young said. "And Colorado.
"I really don't have a favorite at the moment."
Young said he has scholarship offers from Indiana, Cincinnati, Northern Illinois, Bowling Green, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, and Central Michigan.
The 6-foot-5 and 265 pound Young made 51 tackles including seven sacks during his senior season. Young played in only seven games. He missed four with a fractured fibia in his left leg.
