With two offers already on the table, Monroe, Mich., standout cornerback/wide receiver Kris Evans saw his senior season end this past week and now he’s ready to look forward to making a decision.
“I have offers from Stanford and Eastern Michigan,” Evans, who is 6-foot and 170 pounds, said. “I’m going to visit Boston College and Stanford for sure. The other three… I really don’t know what’s going to happen with them.”
Evans is getting interest also from Indiana, Northwestern, UConn and semi-regular attention from Michigan. As a senior, Evans rushed for 1,200 yards and averaged 8.9 yards a rush. On defense, he had around 40 tackles.
“I had a good season,” he said. “It could have been much better. I think if they would have used me more as a receiver, that would have given us more opportunities to score points. But it’s Ok. I played hard and we did all that we can do.
“I now am beginning to look forward to the recruiting process.”
