"I just thought that's where I fit the best," Guarnera said. "I think it's somewhere I can develop and potentially win a National Championship. Seeing the ability of coach Moore to develop his guys and lead them to back-to-back Joe Moore Awards and back-to-back playoff appearances is really something special."

Guarnera's time on campus earlier this year and his bond with the other recruits were just some of the reasons he chose Michigan.

"I think that the visit I took in March was a really key piece in my decision," he said. "With the four offensive linemen they already have and me having a great relationship with them really also played a factor in my decision. Seeing more kids commit and seeing the class we could potentially have is something that attracts kids to Michigan."

Expect Guarnera, who will take his official visit to Ann Arbor the weekend of June 16th, to assist on the recruiting trail now they he is officially part of Michigan's 2024 class.

"I'll definitely be helping out recruiting," said Guarnera. "I'm sure we'll be talking about who else we want to go after. I know the coaches have people they want to go after so I'll helping with that."
