Michael Bumpus Pulls the Trigger

Michael Bumpus, a 6-1, 175 pound wide out from Culver City (Calif.) committed to USC on his official visit this past weekend.
"I committed Saturday night at dinner," Bumpus said. "I knew I was going there for a long time but finally sealed the deal this weekend. While we were eating, I called over to Coach Carroll and asked if I could talk to him. We ended up going outside and I told him I was committing. He was all excited and started hugging me. We were both excited about it.

"The trip was great. I got to see more of the campus and get a better feel for how things would be there as a student. The players and coaches have a great bond and they really relate well to each other. You can just tell that everyone likes Coach Carroll, I mean he's a great guy and I'm looking forward to playing for him. They're bringing me in as a reciver and that's where I want to play as well."
Bumpus has already visited Washington Sate and Arizona State but will not be taking any other visits. He was scheduled to trip to Washington and LSU but is a solid commitment for the Trojans.
