Miami WR ready to choose

If what Miami (Fla.) Parkway Acadamy athlete Keith Houston is being told comes to fruition then his commitment is only days away.
"My coach told me that coach Merck from Miami has told him that they are sending me a written offer," Houston said. "Supposedly I am going to get it in the mail this week. They have been saying they were going to offer for a while so I guess I will believe it when it happens."

IF the Canes don't offer, it appears that really only one other team has a shot at this point.
"I have offers from Ohio State, Kentucky and Rutgers, but I'm down to two schools," Houston said. "Rutgers and Miami, I will be going to one of those two schools. Once Miami offers, I will weigh everything out between the two and commit to one of them within a week."
The 6-foot-0, 190-pound Houston runs the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds, the shuttle in 4.19 seconds and posted a 34-inch vertical jump at the Miami NIKE camp in April.
"I have really been thinking a lot about stuff lately," Houston said. "I just want to get it over with and focus on my season. I want to make a decision in the next couple of weeks."
Houston is ranked as the No. 67 player in Florida and the No. 59 wide receiver in the nation by Rivals.com.
