Miami WR likes Big Ten school

Miami (Fla.) Parkway Academy wide receiver Keith Houston feels he is on the verge of an offer from a Big Ten program and is leaning toward that school.
"Right now, it would have to be Illinois," he said. "Just from what they have been talking to me about and the way they have been talking about the program. It seems like they are going to build it up."
Houston isn't playing high school football this season after quitting the team at his old school, Dr. Krop, and being disallowed to play at Miami Norland, where he transferred.
"My coach and I didn't see eye to eye about some things, so I left," he said.
Kentucky is the other college program that has kept in touch. Rick Petri is recruiting for the Wildcats.
Houston was timed at 4.53 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the Miami NIKE camp and is the nation's No. 55 wide receiver prospect. He was getting early attention from Rutgers, Ohio State and Miami (Fla.) and Pittsburgh, among others. The Hurricanes and Buckeyes wanted him to play in the secondary.
