Wide receiver Terrence Casper put together a strong sophomore season last fall at Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic and he appears ready to have a breakout season as a junior.
Miami and Rutgers are hot on the trail of the 6-foot-5, 174-pound prospect.
"I've talked to a couple of coaches from Miami and Rutgers," Casper said. "There are a few more I like. I'd say my favorites are Tennessee, Ohio State, UConn, Rutgers and Miami.
"Recently I've just been talking to Rutgers and Miami but I've seen all the coaches (from his top five) and talked to them."
Current sophomores cannot receive written scholarship offers yet, so Casper has kept his enthusiasm at bay.
"The coaches haven't said much, just that they still want to come back next season as long as I'm still working hard. They said they can't do too much right now.
"Right now we're still weight rooming and right after that we'll do speed training," he explained. "Then we'll go to the Rutgers 7-on-7 camp on June 21."
As a sophomore Casper caught 15 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns.
