Miami QB has a favorite

Miami (Fla.) Edison quarterback Chris Paul-Etienne has one of the strongest arms in the state of Florida and is one of the top quarterbacks in talent laden Dade County. He has picked up three offers thus far and more could be on the way.
"Right now I have offers from Illinois, Minnesota and Akron," Etienne said. "Louisville has been calling me and letting me now how interested they are. I have also been getting calls from Michigan State, Auburn, Florida, Temple, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Colorado."

Paul-Etienne 1,559 yards with 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions as a junior. He added 157 yards and two touchdowns rushing.
"I have a top four right now," Paul-Etienne said. "Illinois would be my top school, Minnesota would be No. 2 and Florida and Auburn would probably be tied as my third choice right now."
The 6-foot-1, 169-pound Paul-Etienne runs the 40-yard dash in 4.68 seconds, a 4.31 second shuttle, a 28-inch vertical jump and did eight reps on the bench press at the Miami NIKE camp in April.
"Urban Meyer came by my school last month with Doc Holliday and talked to my coach about me," Paul-Etienne said. "Coach Locksley from Illinois came by and checked me out and the offensive coordinator from Minnesota did too."
Paul-Etienne checked in as the No. 83 prospect in the state of Florida by Rivals.com and projects as a three star prospect.
"It makes me feel good that I was on the list because there are so many good players in Florida," Paul-Etienne said. "That makes me feel like this is the sport I'm supposed to be playing and what I am supposed to do with my life. It's a pretty big honor."
