Miami on visit list for Pitt commit

Pittsburgh (Pa.) North Hills running back Andrew Johnson is ready for his first official visit this weekend since announcing that he was a soft commitment to Pitt.

"I go to Ohio State on Sunday through Monday with James Bryant (linebacker and fellow recruit) so it should be interesting," said the 6-foot-0, 205-pounder. "I'm still committed to Pitt, but I'm looking around for sure. I will also visit Florida on Jan. 30 and probably take a trip to Miami next weekend or duing a weekday. Miami hasn't offered yet, but they should before I visit."

Johnson still maintains that he'll remain committed to Pitt if Bryant commits as well.

"We'd like to play on the same team," he said. "That's part of the reason I'm looking at Miami and Florida as well and we're going to Ohio State together."

Johnson said he will decide close to Signing Day.
