Miami OL sets trip, waits for more

The first round of the playoffs were not kind for Miami (Fla.) Monsignor Pace offensive guard Javon Hill and his teammates as they were exited early from the post-season competition.
Aside from the end of his senior season, the 6-foot-4, 331-pound Hill is looking forward to getting more active with his recruiting process. So far Duke sits as his only offer, but he is expecting more to come with Central Florida, South Florida, Michigan State and Florida International showing interest.

"I'm just trying to see what happens," Hill said. "My top five is Michigan State, USF, Florida Atlantic, UCF, and FIU right now. That's in no particular order. I've got a visit set for UCF on Jan. 20. The coach was the first one to ask me about. He seemed interested about an offer and now I'm going to go up there for an official to see what it's all about."
Hill says he's going to take his time with the process in order to see how many offers show up by the end of the process. His decision time will be later on.
"I think I'm going to try to decide before Signing Day," Hill said. "If Duke is still the only one by that time, then that's where I'll go. But, I know I'm going to get more."
As for the way his season ended, Hill is happy with how he did.
"I felt like I did exceptionally well considering last year wasn't a good year and the junior year was tough," Hill said. "I came back, lost a lot of weight, and I made some improvements in my game."
