Miami moves to the top of Davidsons list

Long Beach Poly (Calif.) defensive back Herman Davidson took his fourth official visit this past weekend to Miami. The safety has already seen North Carolina, Michigan and Cal and has the Canes high on his list.
"When it comes to Miami, you hear a lot of people talk about the family atmosphere there and it was all true. From the second I got off the plane there, everyone I met made me feel like I was already part of the team.

"Even though Miami got on me a little late, I've already developed a good relationship with Coach Robinson. I met him at my school and they offered me before I even visited out there and that showed me they were pretty serious.
"My parents weren't able to make the visit but distance is not a factor at all for. In fact, they kind of want me to get away from home and feel it would be good for me and help me grow up a little. They're recruiting me for safety and I really like the opportunity to get out there and play early as well.
"Right now, I don't have a leader but my top two would be Miami and North Carolina. UNC will coming over for a home visit tomorrow night and I'm supposed to set up something with Miami for later this week too. My plan is to announce on Fox Sports on Signing Day so I still have a few weeks to think over everything before making my final decision."
