Miami joins Robertsons offer list

Rivals250 class of 2016 defensive end Auston Robertson is seeing his offer total climb toward double-digit territory after the Miami Hurricanes join his list.
"That got me pretty excited," Robertson said. "We talked on the phone for a little bit. He said over the summer me and my family should come and take a visit down there, tour around the campus. I think it's a possibility we might do that."

Robertson has stayed close to home during the last month, but he was able to visit schools like Ohio State and Notre Dame in September.
"The last one I went to was an Ohio State game," Robertson said. "I liked it a lot. I got to talk with Coach Urban Meyer after the game. That was when I received my offer from them."
No future visits have been scheduled, and where Robertson visits next will depend on another four-star class of 2016 prospect from Fort Wayne.
"I usually go to all the games with Austin Mack, so I have to see if there are any games he wants to go to," Robertson said. "I want to go to a Michigan State game. I got an offer from them already, but I don't really talk to them as much as I should. I like that their defense is pretty good and they always have a good defensive line."
Robertson is playing defensive end for a 7-1 Fort Wayne (Ind.) Wayne team this season, while also seeing action as a flex tight end on offense.
"This is my first year playing defensive end," Robertson said. "Early in the year it was hard for me to tell if it was a pass or run, but now I see it (develop) and it's starting to come easier to me now."
Wayne High has a bye this weekend before starting post-season play against Fort Wayne North on Oct. 31.
