Miami gives Tabb his answer

Three-star tight end Jack Tabb has officially visited four schools and he is perfectly content to choose between those schools he has already seen.
Tabb has visited Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina and Arkansas so far and he enjoyed all of those trips. Each school has offered him something unique and each remains in contention.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound prospect from Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic still wanted to find out whether Miami's new coaching staff would consider offering him a scholarship.
That's not to say the Hurricanes would have been the favorite had they offered him. Simply put, given the Hurricanes' track record with tight ends, if you play that position you have to listen to what Miami tells you.
Before Christmas, Tabb gave new Miami coach Al Golden a call to find out whether they might offer him a scholarship. He quickly got his answer. While it's not the one he wanted to receive, he seemed to appreciate the honesty.
"They're not going to offer," Tabb said. "They said they're looking for more of a true tight end, meaning bigger I guess."
Tabb is unlikely to take any other official visits. He does not have a timetable for when he would like to make his decision.
