Miami defensive end getting solid looks

Miami could probably field a quite a formidable team just off of local talent from around the city. Elvis Dumervil, a weakside defensive end from Miami Jackson is considering joining the Hurricanes - if he stays at home.
"They are my No. 1 team of my top five," Dumervil said. "But if I see something better than Miami, I wouldn’t have a problem leaving.”

Dumervil is 6-foot-1 and 240 pounds. He runs a 4.6-second time in the 40-yard dash and has bench-press max of 440 pounds. With those numbers and the fact that he had 29 sacks last year, the chance to leave the city and the state of Florida are definitely there.
"The rest of my top five in order would have to be Florida, Auburn, Michigan and Oklahoma," he said. "I have offers from Rutgers and Auburn. I think I could get an offer from Florida here pretty soon."
Dumervil says he plans to take his time and take all five of his visits.
